This is a new method we’re using to connect Field Certified Instructors to assist us at the Iowa Law Enforcement Academy with guest instructors for our basic classes.

If you are able to assist with OWI Scenarios, please register for the appropriate time. Reminders will be emailed within two weeks before. Instructors who instruct for up to 4 hours in a day earn a $50 credit that can be applied to certain other training topics sponsored by ILEA. You must be an active Certified (Standardized Field Sobriety Testing) SFST instructor to assist with these courses. If you need information on your status as an ILEA certified instructor to teach this subject, please reach out to the Academy at 515.331.5778.
