Court Security Courses

The Court Security School was designed to provide state and local officers with the training they need to perform their duties as court security officers as well as meet any other Law Enforcement needs that may arise.  Court Security School is a three day program focusing on the following: Courthouse Security, Physical security site survey, Screening Check Point, First response to hostage situations, Judicial Threat Management, Legal aspects, Non-verbal communications, Courtroom Security, Sequestered and petit juries, High threat trials, and Officer Survival.  Participants receive written materials which can be used as models for enhancing the court security plans within their jurisdiction. Leaning is reinforced with practical exercises.
